SJM is pleased to announce that the Palace Garden within Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau is set to launch a brand new menu titled “Tai Shi Culinary Feast” on 1 December. This menu will offer a nourishing gastronomic experience for discerning diners, pairing two exquisite teas that won awards at the “11th MingXing Tea Specialists National Final Competition – Greater Bay Area” with the best of Cantonese cuisine, showcasing SJM’s pursuit for gastronomic excellence.
The “Tai Shi Culinary Feast” presents six exquisite dishes prepared with premium ingredients by Palace Garden’s Head Chef Ken Chong, a successor of Tai Shi cuisine. The menu includes the Classic Chicken Testes Pudding, a testament to the chef’s exceptional culinary repertoire; the succulent Peony King Tiger Prawn, prepared with traditional Cantonese culinary techniques; the Premium Partridge Bisque, which fully showcases the artistry of Tai Shi cuisine; and the Sliced Amidor Abalone braised with Dried Giant Garoupa Skin and Pomelo Peel, which exemplifies the feast’s dedication to exquisite ingredients and refined cookery. The menu is well-curated, featuring the pairing of two elaborately brewed award-winning teas; the rich-bodied “1999 Collected Palace Pu’er Tea” and the fragrant “Superior Taiwan Oriental Beauty,” offering the perfect complement and adding depth to the feast.
In October, SJM stood out among a field of 15 teams at the “11th MingXing Tea Specialists National Final Competition – Greater Bay Area,” securing two prestigious awards. The “SJM Tea Art Specialist” team won second place with their “25-year Aged Pu’er Tea” (1999 Collected Palace Pu’er Tea), a timeless favourite that carries a distinct aroma and mellow flavour. Meanwhile, the “SJM Palace Garden” team clinched the Best Tea Award with “Superior Taiwan Oriental Beauty,” a golden tea with a clear, sweet fragrance that is a hallmark of Taiwanese brews. The results illustrated SJM’s expertise in the realm of tea art.
The “Tai Shi Culinary Feast” will be served during lunch and dinner hours at Palace Garden from 1 December 2024 to 24 February 2025 (except during Chinese New Year from 29 January to 7 February, and on Valentine’s Day, 14 February), at MOP2,588+ per head. Guests are cordially invited to a unique cultural experience through this gastronomic journey.
