The Balmain Couture Exhibition, which will be on display in the main lobby of The Venetian® Macao, will be unveiled at an exclusive gala launch event on Oct. 17 for invited guests including VIPs, media, opinion leaders and influencers. The exhibition will then be open to the public from Oct. 18 to 23, 2019.
The exhibition represents the first time the fashion house has undertaken such a partnership in Asia and demonstrates the growing importance of Macao as a major fashion retail destination in the region. It will pay homage to Balmain’s impressive couture legacy, which Creative Director Olivier Rousteing has built upon to create a singularly modern vision for the house.

Now in its third year, SMFW19 was created to highlight Sands Shoppes Macao as a leading retail destination for fashion and showcase its many luxury and lifestyle brands. Following on from the gala launch event on Oct. 17, SMFW19 will present innovative fashion shows at Shoppes at Venetian and Shoppes at Parisian (see appendix for timetable details), as well as a range of special offers, events and exhibitions, promotions and displays for the public to enjoy.
AURALO ARTE Fashion Show Debuts at Walk on Water Show
SMFW19 will also showcase talented Macao fashion duo ALo Lo and Rainie Choi’s 2020 spring/summer ready-to-wear collection for their brand AURALO ARTE. The collection will be featured in the Walk on Water launch show at Shoppes at Venetian on Oct. 18, 2019.
Established in 2013 after Lo and Choi met while on a fashion diploma at Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM), AURALO ARTE designs are trendy yet practical, conveying strong emotional content. Since their first spring/summer 2014 collection, AURALO ARTE has staged shows across Hong Kong, Taiwan and the rest of Asia, where it has also enjoyed growing sales. The brand is endorsed and worn by local celebrities including Jinny Ng, Vivian Chan and others, was nominated as the most valuable brand of 2016 (Macao) at the Fashion Asia Awards, and was the designated clothing brand of Miss International Macau 2016-2018.
