In early spring, bamboo shoots spring up as the weather gets warmer and humid. Seasonal bamboo shoots are prized for its freshness and sweetness. Beijing Kitchen chef team carefully select the bamboo shoots from Yunnan, which are especially crunchy and sweet. Stewed bamboo shoot, dried chili is truly tempting with special sauce, bringing out the original flavor and crispness of bamboo shoot with mild spiciness and leaves a pleasant aftertaste.
Chef team also select another freshest seasonal ingredients from Yunnan – Chinese toona, it is tender in texture with rich fragrance. Delight in the marinated scallop, prawn, Chinese toona with unique aroma from the perfect combination of fresh prawns, scallops and fine-chopped Chinese toona. Pan-fried egg, Chinese toona is another well-known spring-inspired dishes. Chef mixes the fresh and luscious Chinese toona with smooth egg liquid and pan-fries it as egg pancake with golden and emerald green color, optimizing the texture and aroma.

Chef Dong Signature Dishes Grand Feast
Starting from March, “Chef Dong Signature Dishes Grand Feast” menu is elevated with extra gourmet delights. Treat your friends and family with two-hour all-you-can-eat menu to enjoy appetizers, dim sum, soups, main courses, rice, noodles and dumplings at your choice in our selected menu, making your dining experience remarkable. The elevated menu includes not only the signature traditional Beijing style duck but also an array of Chef Dong’s crafted special dishes, such as wok-fried prawn, sweet and sour sauce; manju style braised crispy pork, assorted mushroom, oyster sauce and many more.
Wok-fried prawn, sweet and sour sauce, originated from a famous dish in northeast China, fried pork in scoop. Chef Dong wraps the fresh prawns in batter, deep-fries them until golden in color, then glazes it with sweet and sour sauce to enrich the umami flavour. Manju style braised crispy pork, assorted mushroom, oyster sauce is a traditional and well-known northern dish. Chef Dong carefully selects boston butt pork to deep-fry with the flour mixed with fried powder and simmers with various mushroom. This delectable cuisine is designed to tantalize your taste bud.
