SJM is proud to announce the launch of “GET ON STAGE SHOW” series at Mesa Bar, located within THE KARL LAGERFELD MACAU at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. From March to December, the series will feature a line-up of world-renowned mixologists showcasing bold, innovative cocktails that reflect their unique cultural heritage and creative flair, offering guests an unforgettable cocktail experience in Macau.
Kicking off the series from 13-15 March, SJM’s Resort Master Mixologist Frederick Ma, 2024 World Bartender of the Year at the IBA World Cocktail Championship will headline the opening event. Frederick and his team will unveil an exciting new cocktail menu featuring innovative drinks that blends Sino-Portuguese cultures and a commitment to sustainable practices. The menu highlights fresh, homegrown ingredients and herbs, with every part thoughtfully utilised to maximise flavour and minimise waste. Guests can savour artfully crafted cocktails while enjoying live DJ performances in the chic, fashion-forward ambiance of Mesa Bar, designed by fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld himself.
From April to December, Mesa Bar will host an extraordinary roster of award-winning guest mixologists from around the world. These innovative experts will push the boundaries of mixology, presenting exciting new creations that captivates the senses. Aspiring cocktail enthusiasts are invited to join exclusive masterclasses held before each event, where they can learn directly from these world-class mixologist, create their own drinks, and take home a truly immersive mixology experience.
This event will follow in the evening after two star-studded culinary celebrations unfolding at Grand Lisboa Palace—the prestigious MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Hong Kong & Macau 2025 and “Cultural Echoes,” an exclusive eight-hand dinner curated by the MICHELIN Guide, where top chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists from across the region will gather at the resort for these premier gastronomy events.
