On the heels of a very colourful and festive Chinese New Year, the celebrations at Grand Lisboa Palace continue with Chinese Valentine’s Day on February 5. In honour of this traditional day of romance, Palace Garden – celebrated for its authentic Cantonese and Tai Shi cuisines – will present a "Chinese Valentine’s Day Special Petit Fours" menu featuring Crystal King Tiger Prawns, Yellow croaker steamed with 20 years vintage “Hua Diao” wine; Crispy baby pigeon with lemongrass scent and more. To create a perfectly sweet ending to this truly decadent dining experience, guests will be treated to a Sweetened red bean soup with 25 years aged tangerine peel and sesame dumplings. The 8-course dinner menu at Palace Garden is priced at MOP 1,888* per person.
On February 14, couples are invited to once again raise a toast to Valentine’s Day at Palace Garden. In the evening, guests will have an opportunity to savour exquisitely prepared seafood and prime meat dishes such as Blue lobster pan-seared with garlic cream sauce, Fish maw braised with Alaskan king crabmeat and Japanese A5 Wagyu beef pan-fried with truffle salt. Couples may choose from a 6-course dinner menu priced at MOP 1,888* per person or an 8-course set dinner priced at MOP 2,688* per person. Home to authentic and contemporary Portuguese cuisine, Mesa at Grand Lisboa Palace is preparing creative dinner menus not only for Western Valentine’s Day on February 14, but also for the popular Chinese “520 Day” of romance on May 20. Couples may choose from the “Forever”, “Infinity” or “Diamond” 3-course menus. The “Forever” and “Infinity” menus feature starters, sumptuous seafood towers, prime meat or seafood dishes and a decadent dessert buffet at the restaurant, while the “Diamond” menu is exclusively served in the Private Dining Room for a more intimate dining experience. Couples who select “Infinity” and “Diamond” will be gifted with a bouquet of beautiful roses and a bottle of Champagne. The dessert buffet features Valentine’s themed petit fours, heart-shaped macarons, chocolate-covered strawberries and more. To lift spirits even higher, the resident mixologist at Mesa has created two colourful cocktails and mocktails, called “Frozen in Love” and “Love Sensation”. And, as a lasting momento of this very special Mesa dining experience, guests are welcome to have Polaroids taken and placed within thoughtfully designed Valentine’s cards.

Specially designed for the month of romance, this limited-time only afternoon tea features a blend of savoury and sweet morsels, from Foie gras with pear and vanilla brioche to Carre’ KL Passion Fruit & Coconut-Lime. For the perfect afternoon tea pairing, the mixologist at The Book Lounge has specially concocted a “Bless of Venus” cocktail, a “Cupid Arrow” mocktail and flavourful sparkling tea. Couples are also invited to “Record the Moment”, by writing romantic words to one another on envelopes and sealing them at The Book Lounge. This luxurious afternoon tea experience is priced from just MOP 688* inclusive of two complimentary drinks.
