BOA VIDA WEEKEND MARKET

Organized by Grand Lapa, Macau and Macau Flea Market Culture Association, the Boa Vida Weekend Market is a community market embracing the “Boa Vida” lifestyle.

Organized by Grand Lapa, Macau and Macau Flea Market Culture Association, the Boa Vida Weekend Market is a community market embracing the “Boa Vida” lifestyle. In Portuguese, Boa Vida means “Good life, good living”, and, this is also the motto of this 2-day market on December 8 & 9.

“Boa Vida living” is not only about oneself, it’s also associated with one’s neighbourhood and community. It is can become a way of living that has the power to positively affect the environment and the people within!” said, Mr Rutger Verschuren, General Manager of Grand Lapa and Area VP – Macau Operations, Artyzen Hospitality Group. “The Boa Vida Weekend Market is the kick-off activity of our “good life, good living” activities and events for the years to come. Grand Lapa has developed a series of Boa Vida activities that will be held over the coming months as it celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2019, varying from culture to wine & dine, wellness to artistry and so on, bridging generations, and bridging East with West by being true to Macau’s DNA. In 2019, we have already a line-up of “good life, good living” events such as International Yoga Day, Music and Poetry Jam Sessions, Portuguese Chef’s table, wine tastings, cooking classes etc.” said Verschuren, “our renovated restaurants and Vasco bar, as well as the renewed green lawn at the hotel’s resort are perfectly suited for these Boa Vida events.”

Boa Vida Weekend Market will take place on 8 and 9 December, 2018, from 2 to 9 pm. The weekend market will showcase good living in booths and stands throughout the resort’s grounds, from arts and crafts, entertainment and storytelling, vintage clothing and accessories, sustainable workshops for kids, pre-loved books and knickknacks, traditional local snacks, live music and a green picnic area at the hotel’s lawn. A family affair for all ages.

Boa Vida Weekend Market is also recruiting its own “Little Green Ambassadors”, encouraging kids from 4-14 years old, to share their creative thinking on “One thing you can do to make Macau Greener”. The selected youngsters will be the Ambassadors for promoting green living.
