Ark-Association of Macau Art (the “AAMA”) exclusively presents an art program entitled “Art Power Jamming”, under the theme of “Friendship Chapter”. The program, which is sponsored by Macao Foundation, and supported by Creative Industries Promotion Association of St. Lazarus Church District and 10 Fantasia, features seven unique shows presented by eight Macau artists (members of AAMA) with diverse backgrounds. The exhibition series will run from 11th July 2020 until 27th June 2021.

"Realize our inner self with artistic skills and sustain the cohesion among friends." By engaging in art creation, we can strengthen our willpower and connect with all like-minded art lovers in the community. Media and different forms of art act as a unique language spoken by artists. This art program unites eight individual Macau talents who will uncover their own stories with their unique “languages” for self-interpretation and feeling expression.

This exhibition series not only creates an exchange platform for different artists who embody different talents and artistic skills, but also allow the general public and tourists to appreciate their unique artworks at the show venue. All artworks embrace the same goal – that is to express the vitality of art.

“Self” To start with a universal question: “Who I am?” From the family perspective, I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, and daughter-in-law. From a society perspective, I am an administration executive, a teacher. But from an inner perspective, how is myself? Through the process of this series of art creation, I dig out my feelings, struggles, likes, thoughts, dreams, and find out more about “real” me.

It doesn’t matter whether a woman is flower or vase, I am who I am. Ladies, love yourself and make your dreams come true.
