“A Midsummer Day Bakery” Exhibition

Artelli Presents “A Midsummer Day Bakery” Exhibition Featuring Five Emerging Korean Artists and MARNI MARKET MACAO Merging Fashion and Art

As an avant-garde Asian art brand, Artelli, the Pioneering Multi-dimensional Art Space of Forward Fashion (International) Holdings Company Limited, a creative integrated group with three synergistic business segments – fashion, art, and lifestyle, in collaboration with Gallery Nowhy and supported by Melco Resorts & Entertainment, Air Macau, and Untitled Museum, presents “A Midsummer Day Bakery”, a group exhibition featuring five emerging and popular Korean artists: DIAN CHUNG, JAES LEE, LEE.K, RORI HEE, and WOORI BAI. The exhibition invites the public to capture the sweet moments hidden in everyday life through original artworks and related art collectibles. Additionally, a series of art collectibles inspired by DIAN CHUNG’s paintings, including hand fans, carpets, and hats, are now available for purchase at Artelli.

The “A Midsummer Day Bakery” exhibition introduces several new original works by Korean artists, making their debut. Centered around the theme of “often-overlooked moments of happiness in everyday life”, the exhibit aims to create an immersive experience that feels like stepping into a charming bakery. Visitors are greeted with the aroma of freshly baked bread, the sound of cookies crisping in the oven, and the rich scent of freshly brewed coffee. These small joys add a special touch to our lives, offering a moment of relaxation and comfort. At the opening ceremony on Thursday, August 8, Macau’s local coffee brand “YUAN Coffee” brought a live “Midsummer Coffee Station” to the venue, allowing guests and collectors to enjoy a delightful blend of art and coffee in a relaxed afternoon.

As a pioneering international art brand, Artelli’s collaboration with MARNI to present MARNI MARKET MACAO marks a groundbreaking milestone—its first partnership with a fashion label. This reflects Artelli’s commitment to dynamic “Art+” initiatives, offering extraordinary experiences at the intersection of art and fashion. MARNI boldly experiments with vibrant colors and scenic prints, creating a whimsical space that enlivens Artelli for a colorful and dynamic summer season.

Since its launch from Milan in 2014, MARNI MARKET has traveled to cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Venice. Inspired by enchanted gardens, it features classic checkered designs and giant floral installations, showcasing MARNI’s lifestyle aesthetics beyond fashion. Collaborating with Colombian artisans, MARNI MARKET honors humanistic values, using natural materials and colors to craft artisanal pieces that blend tradition with creativity.
