5 ideas for a face care Christmas gifts that everyone will enjoy.

I love Christmas, but I must confess that every single year I get a little anxious when buying gifts for my loved ones. It’s not that I don’t like offering presents, exactly the opposite. I love to do so! However, I often find myself running out of gift ideas and the only things that come to my mind are exactly the same presents offered the previous years.
One thing I had never done before however, was to buy face care products. They are just so personal, that I’ve always been very apprehensive about gifting such presents. It’s really easy to buy something for someone only to realise they don’t like it.
This year however, I reflected on my attitude and came to the conclusion that there are actually face care products that can make perfect Christmas gifts. Products that will make a great addition to any skincare regime. Curious? Just read on to discover five face care gift ideas that will work for every skin type.
What characteristics should a perfect face care Christmas gift have?
Firstly it should be appropriate for every age and skin type.  Secondly it should be gentle and have minimal possibility of provoking allergies. Thirdly it should be an enhancing addition to any skincare regime, rather than a focal point or something that will bring unbalance. Lastly it should be natural, in case the person to whom we offer the present uses only these kinds of cosmetics (but if you are sure this is not the case, you can certainly add peptide serums to the list below).
What should you look for?
Squalane Serum or Cleanser
When applied topically Squalane has amazing benefits:
boosts hydration, promoting healthier younger looking skin mimics the skin’s natural oils is light weight, non-greasy and non pore-clogging promotes collagen production resulting in firmer skin reduces any possible redness as it has anti-inflammatory properties.

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that:
keeps redness, acne, eczema and other inflammatory conditions in check helps retain moisture by maintaining a healthy skin’s lipid barrier, regulates sebum secretion, evens skin tone by treating first signs of hyper-pigmentation, minimizes pores’ appearance.

White or Pink Clay Mask
While most clay masks should be chosen based on skin type, white and pink clays are gentle enough to be used by everyone. They:
are mild exfoliants that will remove dead skin to reveal a smoother complexion will make the skin pores appear smaller will provide a SPA-like ritual that, let’s face it, everyone likes.
Antioxidant Serum
There are dozens of antioxidant serums on the market. It really doesn’t matter much if you choose one with some mild form of vitamin C, green tea, white tea, CoQ10, resveratrol or any other antioxidant mix. As long as you make sure to avoid retinoids and alfa ascorbic acid which may be harsh for some skin types, your gift will be great. It will:
protect the skin from oxidative stress induced by free radicals, acting as an anti-aging shieldcalm the skin by keeping inflammation at bayhelp reveal a more youthful, fresh looking complexion
I honestly believe that a flawless, glowing complexion can be the best gift we can offer to our loved ones. I will for sure treat my family and friends to some beauty enhancing face care goodies this Christmas and I hope you will too.
