Gafencu’s Time to Shine – The 3rd Grand Gafencu Ball 2017 presented its third annual awards to honour the key contributors to the Macau society on 12 May at Four Seasons Hotel Macau.
The award had honoured some of Macau’s most outstanding citizens as a fitting accolade to their contributions and also in recognition of the growing importance of Macau as a prosperous international hub for business, entertainment and culture. Gafencu specially selected three distinguished Macau individuals for their prominent achievements: Ms. Heidi Chan – Charity Award, Ms. Vivian Lou – Legacy Award and Mr. Raymond Kong – Hospitality Award. The honors awarded are designated to recognize the unique contributions of outstanding Macau professionals in their specialties, and to inspire Macau citizens to achieve more in the future.
The event invited celebrities from Macau and Hong Kong’s most exclusive social circles and high-profile guests to mark Gafencu’s broadening horizons beyond China and Hong Kong. Total Media has been running similar awards in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong for the last six years, and this year is the first year that Gafencu honoured a number of outstanding individuals for their lasting contributions in Macau.
The star-studded night also celebrated Gafencu's newly-launched digital App, iBonton and mark the magazine’s continuing evolution.
