To celebrate this partnership, Hennessy has debuted the exclusive Hennessy V.S.O.P NBA Limited Edition and X.O NBA Limited Edition. The eye- catching limited edition gift box and the bottle embody the logos of the two iconic brands, incorporating the artwork of Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège bottle in the outlined basketball in red lines.
The red and white contrasting colours perfectly demonstrate the exciting partnership between Hennessy and NBA. Hennessy V.S.O.P releases a balanced, stubble aroma of oak, soft cinnamon, liquorice, and honey. Infused with the savoir-faire of the master blenders at the House Hennessy, it echoes with the unprecedented breakthroughs the legendary brand has upheld for years.
The Hennessy X.O NBA Limited Edition comes in a matte black gift box, manifested with the two iconic brands’ logos. The gift box is designed with a smooth golden outline of a basketball which contrasts with the subtle matte black box. The Hennessy X.O logo on the bottle has been transformed into a black and gold basketball icon to commemorate the combination of luxury and energy of both brands.
The two brands have also joined forces with Galaxy Macau in bringing about the first-ever Hennessy x NBA Macau Pop-Up, driving awareness towards local basketball culture.
The basketball court and themed areas offer a variety of immersive experiences to lead the guests into a basketball frenzy, enjoy a unique cognac tasting experience and promote the street culture of Macau.
The Hennessy basketball court is open to the public on weekdays and Hennessy will also be holding basketball shooting challenges from 2pm to 4pm every weekend as well as a 2-on-2 freestyle matches that allow basketball fans to step up the game and compete with friends from 4pm to 5pm every weekend.
Inspired by the passionate spirit of the NBA, Hennessy has created a series of NBA- themed cocktails, combining the fresh fruit ingredients and the richness of cognac – The Jumpshot Ginger, which delivers a unique and delicious ginger spice; and The Slam Dunk, which infuses a kick of freshness with sweet, tropical citrus notes. Hennessy x NBA cocktails are only available at the Hennessy Bar in the Pop-up store, allowing fans to sip on the NBA-inspired cocktails while watching some thrilling basketball games.
Apart from the popup, Hennessy and NBA are also bringing an exciting dining experience to everyone. Whisky Bar at StarWorld Hotel, The Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge, Surf Bar, and The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge at Galaxy Macau are offering a total of nine special cocktails that celebrate “the Spirit of the NBA”.
Pak Loh Chiu Chow Restaurant and Feng Wei House have also launched special menus that pair signature dishes with Hennessy X.O and V.S.O.P, taking your dining experience to the next level with Hennessy’s smooth and sophisticated flavor notes.
