Taking inspiration from America’s relaxed West Coast lifestyle, Coast offers dishes that capture the spirit of California and neighboring western produced flavors, and brings them to Macau.

Unpretentious with an air of excellence, Coast is a restaurant where family and friends can gather to share a wide selection dishes such as wood-fired pizza, fresh baked breads, salads, grills and other comforting delights for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
On a recent visit to Macau last month, Chef Elliot commented: “The highlights are things that are influenced by coastal regions, the wood fire oven, the shellfish bar, things that are very light and fresh. It’s not an American restaurant, it’s western, but inspired by things from the ocean.”
Natural light floods Coast’s dining room, illuminating through decorative glass. The room is filled with aromas of freshly baked goods from the central show kitchen and the wood-fired pizza oven. Coast houses a wine cellar which showcases Californian and New World wines. The incredible scenes adjacent to the restaurant from the Spectacle add further pizzazz to the atmosphere.
“It’s not just cuisine, it’s the feel of the place, the energy, the décor, the uniforms, the music, all of that, so when you come to Coast, it is very fun and relaxed,” adds Chef Graham.
Cosy booths and comfortable tables on tiered levels allow for easy conversation. The restaurant features a chef’s table which can be used for private or public events, directly adjacent to the kitchen.

For starters, be sure to try Chef Graham’s signature Deconstructed Caesar salad with baby romaine, white anchovy and brioche twinkie, and for main course Chef Graham’s African chicken 2.0, his innovative take on the famous Macanese dish.
Another must-try restaurant at the new MGM COTAI property is Five Foot Road. Drawing inspiration from the ancient silk routes, Five Foot Road takes guests on a culinary journey through the rich and complex flavors of Chengdu dishes from Sichuan cuisine.
Named after the width of the carts that plied their trade along the Silk Road, Five Foot Road is Macau’s heaven for spice lovers. The cuisine is influenced by the four seasons of the Sichuan year, which are depicted in a beautiful Chinese painting in the restaurant.
At the heart of the cuisine is the famed Sichuan chili and peppercorn, playing a central role on the menu focusing on authentic Sichuan ingredients and recipes with contemporary presentation from the restaurant’s trained Sichuan master chef. Authentic non-spicy dishes will also be available for guests looking for alternatives.
The restaurant’s design fuses artistry and poetry, with traditional motifs and modern aesthetic recalling the charm of this historic route that connected China and Europe. Each table is a unique expression of the traders’ journey, and winds its way along a series of open, private and semi-private spaces.
A stylish bar and lounge featuring elegant calligraphic poems sets to create a meeting spot for travelers to Macau – it will be a place where guests can savor a variety of beverages including traditional Sichuan Kung Fu tea and a selection of infused beverages.
