Indulgence of Mid-Autumn Flavours
On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival on 10 September, in addition to the popular live seafood cooking stations and signature dishes, The Grand Buffet will offer a series of festive items including Wok Fried Sea Snail, Truffle Roast Goose, Giant Mooncake, and an Assorted Osmanthus Cake station. All children who visit The Grand Buffet will receive a Mid-Autumn lantern to celebrate this festive day. The lunch buffet is MOP498 per adult and MOP248 per child aged seven to 12, while the dinner buffet is MOP788 per adult and MOP394 per child aged seven to 12. Meanwhile, paying homage to Canton's traditional teahouse culture, Chalou serves dim sum and teahouse specialties. The restaurant will hold a “Mini Mooncake Making Workshop” and “Mid-Autumn Tea Art Masterclass” to celebrate this traditional festival with family and friends. Guests can also enjoy a 25% discount by booking a dinner from 9 to 11 September.
Mini Mooncake Making Workshop
Under the guidance of a professional Chalou chef, adults and children are welcome to participate in creating their very own delicious mini mooncakes. While waiting for the mooncakes to finish baking, guests can enjoy a wonderful dim sum set lunch at Chalou for three persons. At MOP880 per group, the price includes a mooncake making experience for two adults and one child, a set lunch for three as well as a Grand Lisboa Palace "Secret Garden Under the Moon" mooncake gift box.

Mid-Autumn Tea Art Masterclass
Chalou also offers a variety of premium teas, with the resident tea master on hand to help guests discover their perfect choice of tea. During the masterclass, the tea master will introduce a variety of festive autumn teas and demonstrate a selection of Chinese-styled tea brewing skills. While enjoying the tea ceremony, guests will be offered four courses of fragrant teas and enjoy matching the teas to Chalou’s classic dim sums. Guests participating in this masterclass will also receive a Grand Lisboa Palace "Secret Garden Under the Moon" mooncake gift box. The registration fee is MOP480 per person.

A Celebration of Art and Light
Surrounded by the magnificent architecture of Grand Lisboa Palace, Jardim Secreto encompasses a gorgeous dome located in the centre of the European-styled garden. During Mid-Autumn Festival, Jardim Secreto will be specially decorated with a giant lantern in the arrangement of a blooming lotus. From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on 9 September onwards, Jardim Secreto will be complimentarily open to the public for families to gather and enjoy the festive lights under a shining full moon.
Mid-Autumn GLP Art Workshops
The recurring GLP Art Workshops will launch a series of festive workshops in September including the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern, Luminous Planet Lights Painting, and Chinese Zodiac Animal Painting workshops. Welcoming adults and children at MOP150 per session, the workshops offer an opportunity to create wonderful take-home art that epitomises the exceptional Mid-Autumn Festival.
