There is this impression that everything in the Cotai area is expensive, be it food and beverage, accommodation or different forms of entertainment. But CLOSER is dismantling this impression by finding some of the best value F&B options in this impressive area.
The serene lobby of Hotel Okura Macau is in stark contrast to the bustling Galaxy Macau shopping area. Okura's Yamazato is regularly mentioned as one of the best Japanese fine dining restaurants in town, and the Hotel’s Terrace Restaurant also offers a high quality culinary experience for all.
Currently, Terrace is serving Weekday Semi-Buffet Lunches and Dinners, which include salad bar, soup, choice of main dish and homemade desserts.
Walking into the restaurant, one is immediately be attracted by the colours and freshness of the salad dishes. Displayed alongside the salads are the homemade desserts, which are just as chromatic.
Guests can pick their main dish from five options, including Grilled Seabass with White Wine Sauce, Lamb Rack with Mint Yogurt Sauce, Beef Short Rib, Arroz de Marisco, Spaghetti Stewed Mushroom and Soy Sauce, as well as Portuguese Stewed Pork Spaghetti.
CLOSER highly recommends the lamb and the beef, tender and full of flavor, and not gamy at all.
A well-enjoyed meal should always finish with some indulgent desserts. With the semi-buffet, guests have four desserts to choose from, including chocolate cake and Portuguese pudding.
Our favourite though is the green tea cake – very light and well balacnced with its red bean and the cream topping
The set meal is just MOP168 per person plus service charge – great value indeed!
