The spotlight event of this summer, the “2021 Macau.Qingdao Beer Cultural Festival” makes its grand debut on 16 July on the lawn adjacent to the Wynn Palace South Entrance. To pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the first edition of the festival also celebrates the occasion with a toast to its extraordinary achievements over the past century. The 24-day beer festival accepts group booking from Mondays to Thursdays and public reservation from Fridays to Sundays, opening from 6pm to 12am between 16 July and 8 August. Featuring Tsingtao Beer and Macau Beer, the festival also integrates four additional elements: gourmet cuisine, performances, tourism promotion, and cultural and creative exhibitions.
This major event features a large-scale beer hall that showcases a selection of 18 brews and products across 12 lines of Tsingtao Beer, including Tsingtao Original Beer flown fresh from Qingdao to Macao within 7 days of being made, and others launching in Macau for the first time, like Tsingtao One by One (Six Cups). As for local beer, guests can enjoy not only the classic Macau Beer Golden Ale, but also taste a preview of Macau Beer White Ale, two limited edition seasonal brews: “I have been to Travessa da Paixão” and “Macau Amber Ale”. There are also fun games and eye-catching photo-taking opportunities onsite, as well as food stalls offering a wide array of gastronomic delights from various parts of the world to pair with the beer selection. Moreover, the special “Two Cities Cultural and Creative Zone” showcases key features of Macau and Qingdao so that residents and guests can experience their vibrant cultures. All are cordially invited to embark on an intoxicating gourmet and cultural journey at Wynn Palace where guests can get to know the brewing cultures of the two cities and their shared pursuit of quality. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available to cater for guests of all ages, reflecting the warm hospitality of the two cities. In addition, to support the government’s vaccine initiative, those who have received at least one vaccine dose can claim a 20% discount on the ticket price by presenting the relevant certificate upon purchase.
