The Conrad Macau, Cotai Central is bringing to its customers a sweet Christmas afternoon experience by offering the Festive Afternoon Tea menu at its Lobby Lounge.
The menu, which is available until December 31, features savoury snacks including sour cream and cucumber tartlet topped with raw fish; lemon crab and avocado sandwiches, cream cheese, peppadew and olives, and turkey and cranberry chutney; and sweet delights including snow choux cream, tropical fruits, chocolate cake, Christmas stollen, mince pies and raisin scones with clotted cream and orange jam.
Among the delicacies on the tray is the sour cream and cucumber tartlet topped with raw fish. The texture of the tartlet is similar to that of an ice-cream cone. The sour cream and cucumber is a perfect match to the raw fish. Another recommended item is the lemon crab and avocado sandwiches. The sour taste of the lemon brings out the flavour of crab and avocado, making them even more delicious than usual.
The colourful appearance of the snow choux cream, tropical fruits is very alluring, and the sweetness of the cream inside is well balanced as well. As for the chocolate cake, the richness of the taste is satisfying, giving a great sense of happiness when eating it.
Apart from the finger food, Conrad is also serving a series of Christmas-themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
