This Christmas, loved ones can celebrate the holidays together at seafood and grill specialty restaurant, Belon at Banyan Tree Macau, with a festive 5-course Christmas dinner carefully prepared by Executive Chef Mirko Cappa for MOP 998+ per person.
 
Upon arrival at Banyan Tree Macau, guests are encouraged to stop by the Christmas Tree where the hotel has partnered with Macau Fu Hong Society to raise funds for the underprivileged community in Macau. Afterwards, diners can move up to the 31st floor, to be greeted by the Christmas amuse bouche as is customary to prepare for a delicious meal ahead. Native to Italy but with over a decade of experience cooking around the world, Chef Cappa has prepared the first-course using succulent Hokkaido Scallops seared to perfection and served with cauliflower, a salty caper nage and sea urchin foam. 
 
Chef Cappa next prepares a personal favourite, Wild Porcini Mushroom Soup, to take guests deep into the woody forests for a rich fall flavour intensified by delicate black truffles, fresh sprigs of parsley and a mushroom cappuccino for added texture.  This dish is then followed by superbly fresh Norseland Salmon & Scampi.
 
Christmas diners at Belon can also enjoy a tender sous vide Veal Filet Mignon main with smoked eggplant caviar and a side of basil-butter vegetables. Belon’s prized cellar features hand-picked wines from premium producers around the world perfect for pairing with the festive Christmas dinner main of either seafood or red meat.  
 
The quintessential ginger and chestnut Christmas flavours make an appearance at dessert with a warm Ginger Bread to accompany a Chocolate Mousse served with a Chestnut Gelato and macerated raspberries Kirsch brandy to evoke a holiday warmth. 
 
Banyan Tree Macau will also offer a series of promotions to celebrate the festive season. For those looking for a daytime getaway treat, Belon will also offer both Christmas and New Year Eve’s brunch buffet for MOP 888+ per person. 
 
On 24, 25 and 31 December, Cabana will offer a Christmas Hot Pot at MOP 1,888+ for four people to enjoy together. 
 
Signature restaurant Saffron will also offer Christmas and New Year Eve’s dinner buffet for MOP688+ per person; the Banyan Lounge will feature a Festive Season Afternoon Tea available from 1 December to 1 January 2018 at the price of MOP 118+ per person. 
 
The Banyan Tree Spa will arrange for a special gift voucher including a 150-minute Winter Indulgence Package that includes a 30-minute Thai herbal heat treatment that melts the tension from the muscles, a 90-minute relaxing Lomi Lomi body massage followed by a 30-minute Rejuvenation Bath that uplifts the senses and brightens up dull skin with herbs rich in antioxidants. Each package comes with a mini burner with Thai Charmanard essential oils to light up at home later. The spa promotion is available from now until 5 January 2018 for MOP 2,800++ per person.
