The St. Regis Bar at The St. Regis Macao earns a coveted spot on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 list
The St. Regis Bar, located within the opulent The St. Regis Macao, has secured the coveted position of No.22 on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars list for 2024, becoming the only bar in Macau to receive this recognition this year.

Asia’s 50 Best Bars showcases the best and most innovative talent in the industry across the region. Winners are determined by over 200 globetrotting members of Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy, drinks media, mixology experts and bars consultants. The Academy spans 14 countries and dozens of cities across the continent, reflecting the relative development and importance of bar scenes in different locations.
The St. Regis Bar owes its success to frequent guest shifts complemented by exquisite live jazz, where award-winning mixologists and industry luminaries have graced its elegant space. From a bar program that features innovative cocktail creations to masterful presentations, the bar has consistently focused on elevating the art of mixology, leaving an indelible impression on patrons and connoisseurs alike.
The bar program includes the Bloody Mary ‘World Collection’ of which Macau’s iteration is Maria do Leste (Mary of the East) – a cocktail forged from the city’s unique east-meets-west culture; The Violet Hour which highlights the transition from day to evening with three distinctive martinis; a collection of 15 New York-inspired cocktails that pay homage to the legacy and glamour of the original House of Astor – The St. Regis New York; as well as mixologist Kevin Lai’s impeccable cocktails inspired by Macau and New York City’s heritages.
From The Art of Concoction menu of nine extraordinary cocktails, Kevin’s most popular beverages include the Macao Egg Tart – a caramel and milk infused cocktail that is complemented by the spiciness of dark rum in a representation of one of Macao’s most authentic flavors. Another favourite is Sunset Over Hudson River Park – with orange and yellow hues of the sunset, the rum-based cocktail transports guests to a front row seat of one of New York City’s best views.
