Our small city is no stranger to festivals and now that all the arts, music, food, and cultural festivals, and major sporting events are complete, we have one last festival to take us through to the end of 2013, and what better way to get there than by taking advantage of great promotions from over 1,000 outlets participating in this year's Macau Shopping Festival….
Co-organised by the Macau Government Tourist Office, the Festival runs for the entire month of December presenting special privileges, sales and offers at all major shopping and entertainment malls, as well as food and beverage outlets. Just look for the Macau Shopping Festival sticker displayed at participating outlets to know where you can find great deals.
To know more about the best promotions, the Festival has launched Facebook and Weibo pages, and will distribute a complimentary 'Macau Shopping Festival Guide' at the four main points of entry. There is even a Festival phone app available for free download, to help search for nearby participating shops and eateries.
Adding to the festive atmosphere throughout the city, as part of the Festival over 1000 small and medium-sized shops are taking part in the 'Christmas Window-Dressing Campaign'.
The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has also launched the ICBC Macau Shopping Festival Credit Card and Prepaid Card, offering additional points and privileges.
Last but not least is the 'Port-of-Entry Instant Lucky Draw', offering tourist the chance to enter the lucky draw and stand the chance of winning prizes worth MOP3 million in total.
