Aaron Randles is a high diver and acrobat at The House of Dancing Water and one of the longest cast members in the show. Trained in the US, Aaron has been a diver/gymnast since the age of five and has been performing in shows around the world since 2002, moving to Macau in 2010 with his family. With wife Marisa, they opened The Blissful Carrot in April 2014, Macau and Taipa’s only western vegetarian/vegan cafe.
Whatís your idea of a perfect day?
In no particular order: fresh air, good coffee, good music, good vegetarian food, swimming in the ocean, an afternoon nap, hitting up a vintage or antique furniture market, going to a live music concert… all, of course, accompanied by my wife Marisa and son Ethan.
If you could go back in time to any event in history, what would it be?
Woodstock.
If you could have any other job, apart from the one you have, what would it be?
Interior designer with a focus on sustainable, natural, and reclaimed materials.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and Titanic.
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Blissful Carrot’s “I am Raw Garden Salad”. Not only is the dressing super addictive, but it is filling and nourishing for the body. I always get an energy boost from all the raw (and often organic) veggies & sprouted seeds- loaded with enzymes, they keep me going!
If you could invite five people, living or dead, over for dinner, who would they be?
My biological father (he passed away when I was 5), my wife Marisa, Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and Julia Roberts.
What can always cheer you up when you are having a bad day?
Getting a big hug from my wife and son, and knowing that a bad day is all about perspective.
Whatís your worst habit?
Disorganization.
If you could travel to any place on earth, where would you go?
Anywhere around Latin America.
Are there any causes you are particularly drawn to?
Human rights, animal rights, the state of the food industry, reducing carbon footprints (all reasons why I opt to be vegetarian) and anti-smoking.
