DESIGNER

Bella Horner is a Filipino designer and model making waves in the fashion industry with her innovative and sustainable swimwear brand, Alta Bella. Established in Macau in 2021, during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic period, Alta Bella has quickly gained recognition for its handmade, high-quality swimwear that combines style, sustainability, and inclusivity.Her designs are characterized by their unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern aesthetics, ensuring that each piece of swimwear is not only beautiful but also eco-friendly. By using sustainable materials and ethical production methods, Bella has positioned Alta Bella as a leading brand in the sustainable fashion movement. Bella’s vision extends beyond creating stunning swimwear. As a model and an advocate for body positivity and inclusivity, she founded the Alta Bella Community. This community provides training and workshops for aspiring models, helping them to build confidence and hone their skills. Additionally, the Alta Bella Community offers self-improvement programs and activities for both adults and kids, including dancing and acting workshops.

STYLIST

Rui Carreiro is the founder and owner of Rui Carreiro Barbeiro, the first Portuguese barbershop in Macau.  With over three decades of experience, Rui brings a wealth of knowledge and innovation to the grooming industry. His barbershop represents the embodiment of expertise, class and artistry in the world of grooming. In addition to his impressive tenure in the grooming industry, Rui has made a significant impact on the TV and entertainment industry in Portugal, Macau and Asia.  His versatile talent and dedication have earned him recognition and admiration from a diverse audience. Rui Carreiro Barbeiro has been a fixture in Macau for over nine years, consistently delivering exceptional grooming services to the local community.  Rui’s longevity and commitment to the region have made him a trusted and dependable partner in the grooming industry.

PHOTOGRAPHER

Eloi Scarva was born in Macau, where he works and lives. Spending his first days of life in a darkroom and being brought up on the road, he has previously worked in Brazil, Portugal and Belgium, currently maintaining a studio in Macau. He studied Sculpture, Installation and Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine-Arts in Lisbon and the University of São Paulo in Brazil. In 2016 co-created the arts association “Republic of Arts of Coloane”, inaugurating the year with sculpture consultancy for the 5-year-long public art project “AnnoProject”. In 2017 opened the first photography oriented gallery “Casa do Povo” in Macau. From 2018 to 2022 was able to work between the artistic department of The House of Dancing Water theater and as an art consultant at the University of Macau, for the Review of Culture magazine, while also exhibiting regularly. Artistic endeavors range from installations to sculptures and photography as a medium for nomad art practice.
