Taiwanese singer Christine Hsu has won several awards including: the Golden Tripod award, the Golden Melody Awards, the Best Soundtrack Award in Nantes (France) and the Film Festival San Diego Film Festival Award for best vocal theme song. Christine was the first pop singer to perform in the National Concert Hall of Taipei and was the only invited pop singer to sing at Taiwan’s 12th presidential inauguration concert and banquet. Until today Christine Hsu has released 18 albums, including My Life as a Rose (1987), The Moon Knows (1996), and Moonlight on the Love River (2005).
 
 
 
Sérgio Godinho

Portuguese poet, composer, and singer Sérgio Godinho – one of his country’s most influential voices and musicians for the past 40 years – will launch his first novel, A Heart Too Perfect (Coração Mais que Perfeito), at the Macau Literary Festival. Sérgio Godinho was born in Porto, where he lived until he was 20 years old, when he left Portugal. He studied Psychology in Geneva for two years, before making the decision to dedicate himself to the arts. He was a theatre actor and started to write songs in the late 60’s. His first album Os Sobreviventes was recorded in 1971, and was followed by 27 more until today. Sérgio Godinho is one of the most influential Portuguese musicians of the last 40 years. About himself he says: “I don’t live if I don’t create, I don’t create if I don’t live. This uncertain balance has always been the touchstone of my life.” Sérgio Godinho has written scripts for cinema, screenplays, TV shows, books for kids, poetry and chronicles.
