This issue’s PORTFOLIO presents a selection of digital and installation artwork by Los Angeles-based Macau designer Kam Ying (Kamyi) Lee, as she strives to form new relationships between people and their surroundings.

Kam Ying (Kamyi) Lee is a Los Angeles based interdisciplinary artist and creative programmer who is interested in contemporary and experimental uses of digital media. Focusing on video design, immersive design, light art, architectural projection, and interactive programming in art installations and live performances, Kamyi hopes to forge new relationships between humans and their surroundings by integrating different use of technologies.  She has previously won the Kadenze Digital Arts Expo Award and Santa Clarita Valley Business Journal Technology Award for Excellence in Creative Technology. Her selected projects include: A Dream of Light (Macau Arts Festival), The Peach Blossom Land (Walt Disney Modular Theater), Membrane (Los Angeles Vortex Dome) and The Galaxy Above you (Los Angeles Automata). Kamyi is founder of Macau based creative design studio Atelier Cocorico.
