Photographer Quentin Jacobs Gray is currently based in Macau and has a strong passion for shooting both street and nature photography. Originally from the United States, Quentin has lived in Macau for 14 years.
Before coming to the city, he spent four years living and working in Japan. Since an early age Quentin has lived and breathed film, and what began as a love affair with motion pictures has grown into a full fascination and love for still-photography.
Quentin finds it energizing to be able to tell a story and to capture a moment in time while sharing it with others. He finds immense joy in photographing landscapes, street scenes, black-and-white, as well as macro-photography.
After receiving a 35 mm SLR camera as a gift years ago, he immediately found a new medium in art that allowed him to tell his own stories. Armed with a camera, Quentin seeks out engaging subjects to photograph in sprawling urban settings and beautiful natural wonders while capturing and documenting its moments in time.
