The Macao International Film and Video Festival (MIFVF) is an annual celebration of artistic and independent cinema, presenting both international and local films, coupled with a wide range of parallel activities designed to engage and connect with local audiences so they can learn more about movie culture.
Scheduled to take place from April to June, this year MIFVF is celebrating its 10th edition. The Festival will open with a wonderful collection of international films, bringing unique productions from around the world, from well-known masters and festival favourites to emerging directors and niche films.
Later in May, the Festival continues with the Macao Indies (May 10–15), showcasing locally-made productions, which take audiences on an in-depth tour to explore the city and its many stories.
Throughout the Festival, there will also be a series of parallel activities such as exhibitions, outreach activities, workshops, seminars, dialogues with directors and the exciting video production challenge – 1-min Rush.
