Clearer than you think

The Congress
Robin Wright, playing herself, gets an offer from MIRAMOUNT STUDIO to sell her cinematic identity: she'll be numerically scanned and sampled so that her alias can be used with no restrictions in all kinds of Hollywood films – even the ones she previously rejected. In exchange she earns money for life, and more importantly, her digitalized character will be forever young – for all eternity – in all their future films. When the contract expires 20 years later, Robin arrives at Abrahama, the animated city created by MIRAMOUNT NAGASAKI. And this time she is offered to sell her identity to become a chemical formula… Directed by Ari Folman, the director of Waltz with Bashir, this film was selected for the opening of Directors' Fortnight at Cannes.
