Earlier this year, Ambiente Properties launched their Art@Ambiente Art initiative with the goal of giving a platform to local Macau artists to share their artistic talents with the general public, within the cosy and intimate environment of the Ambiente working office in central Macau.
After featuring two solo exhbitions with the works of talented painters Denis Murrell and Leong Chi Mou, in October Ambiente brought both of these artists back to its third event, together with four other artists, to present an amazing array of diverse artistic talent over a two-day period.
Joining Denis and Leong Chi Mou at Art@Ambiente 3 were architect, interior designer and jewelry designer and maker Marieta da Costa; retired medical doctor and renowned porcelain painter Arlinda Frota; well-known water colour painter Filipe Dores, and up-and-coming painter and sculpturer Heidi Ng.
This was the first time several artists were invited to participate alongside one another, and friends, colleagues and clients of the artists and of Ambiente dropped by over the two days to admire the artwork and if so inclined, to buy.
“The team and I have so enjoyed being surrounded in our office by some sensational art over the two days of the exhibition,” says Suzanne Watkinson, managing director of Ambiente Properties. “The pieces, big and small, add light and energy to the atmosphere.
When new friends and old drop in to say hello, meet the artists and admire their work there’s a real buzz. And the artists tell us how much they love having the opportunity to showcase their work in such a relaxed intimate space.”
