FROM THE 62nd GRAMMYAWARDS

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards took place in January 2020, with singer Lizzo receiving the most nominations of any artist with eight. Ultimately though, the night belonged to Billie Eilish andher brother Finneas who won five awards each. Eilish became the first artist to win the major four categories of Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist in the same year since Christopher Cross in 1981. She also took home a host of other prizes in the 2019/20 awards season, winning big at the American Music Awards, Brit awards and MTV Video Music Awards, just to name a few. She even broke Guinness World Records for the youngest female artist at No.1 on UK albums chart, and the most simultaneous US Hot 100 entries by a female.
