An amazing selection of fine French cuisine as part of the annual Le French GourMay festival.
Each May, gourmands in Hong Kong and Macau are treated to an amazing selection of fine French cuisine as part of the annual Le French GourMay festival. In 2018, the French food and wine festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and by showcasing the uniqueness of South of France through the gastronomy of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
Le French GourMay is partnering with a number of restaurants this year. And as one of the finest French dining establishments in Macau, Aux Beaux Arts at MGM MACAU is delighted to present an exquisite menu, to highlight this picturesque region renowned for its delicious local flavours.
To begin the special Le French GourMay meal at Aux Beaux Arts, guests can choose from two appetizers, a niçoise salad with egg, tomato, green beans & anchovies, or a platter of 12 seasonal French oysters.
The main course menu presents three succulent options: sardine fillet with grilled baby potato, tomato sauce, bell peppers; red mullet bouillabaisse; or seared lamb loin with green pea risotto, beetroot, ham & lamb Jus.
And to wrap up this culinary journey, dessert offerings include a wonderfully fresh nougat taspberry tart or tropézienne tart.
To enhance the dining experience, Aux Beaux Arts has also prepared an elegant wine pairing selection featuring AIX, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, Grenache Blanc, 2015; Domaine du Haut des Terres blanches, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 2011; and Paul Jaboulet Aine, Muscat Beaumes de Venise, 2014.
Two other superb wines are also available by the glass: Château de Beaucastel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 2009 and 1998.
May will certainly be a great time to discover the best of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur’s gastronomy and wines at MGM MACAU’s Aux Beaux Arts.
Aux Beaux Arts serves up chic brasserie-style French cuisine in an environment reminiscent of 1930s Paris. In 2016, Wine Spectator magazine awarded the restaurant the highest recognition in its Restaurant Wine List category for the second consecutive year.
